Ideas should be judged by their merits. Constructive, respectful debate and disagreement is always encouraged—if you think we’re making a mistake, we want to know. Even without unanimous agreement, our mutual respect allows us to commit to and execute a plan. We should always be ready to recognize when a plan is not working as hoped and be ready to learn and change approaches. Decision making should be fundamentally scientific and experimental.
