Step 1: Download the installation package for your operating system
The installer file will be downloaded into your default browser download location
Step 2: Install the download package
Open the downloaded file. Follow your operating system’s prompts to install
Step 3: Create a JuliaHub account (first time users)
Create a free JuliaHub account to enable agentic model creation and solutions in the cloud.
Step 4: Build your first Dyad model
Open Dyad from your computer's application menu. Click the image on the right to access a tutorial for help getting started.

Answers to common questions about installing Dyad
What do I need before I install Dyad Studio?
You'll need a Windows (x86), Linux (x86), or Mac (Apple Silicon) computer with at least 4 CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM; a free JuliaHub account; and network access to juliahub.com to download the Dyad software distribution and use AI features.
Do I need to pay for a JuliaHub account to install Dyad?
No. Signing up for a JuliaHub account is free and is required only so you can download the Julia libraries used to compile, simulate, and analyze your models. There's no separate binary or executable to purchase — Dyad compiles "just in time" for your specific machine and hardware.
Why does Dyad Studio ask me to log in to juliahub.com during setup?
Dyad is delivered through JuliaHub's DyadRegistry which is only reachable once you're authenticated to juliahub.com.
Initial startup seems to be stuck — is something wrong?
Probably not. Julia compiles code specifically for your machine the first time you run it, so you may see a REPL sit at "precompiling" for a short time (longer on older CPUs) during first setup.
