Join us for an in-depth session on JuliaC, a new toolchain for building executables and shared libraries directly from Julia code. Whether you’re embedding Julia in other applications or deploying standalone binaries for production, JuliaC streamlines the process, making Julia a practical choice for systems programming, embedded development, and high-performance engineering applications.

Join Dr. Jeff Bezanson, co-creator of Julia and core developer of JuliaC, and Kristoffer Carlsson, senior software engineer at JuliaHub as they introduce the new compiler interface and demonstrates how to build compact executables and shared libraries directly from Julia code. Learn how JuliaC simplifies cross-language integration, enabling you to call Julia from C, C++, Python, and other environments—and makes it easier to deploy lightweight binaries across devices and embedded systems.

Speakers

Jeff Bezanson is the co-creator of the Julia programming language and Chief Technology Officer at JuliaHub. With a PhD from MIT and an undergraduate degree from Harvard, Jeff has focused his career on advancing technical computing. He was awarded the J.H. Wilkinson Prize for Numerical Software in 2019 for his foundational work on Julia. Jeff is an active contributor to the Julia language and its ecosystem, and continues to lead efforts to make high-performance, composable computing more accessible to scientists, engineers, and developers worldwide.
