Dyad is a system simulation tool built on top of Julia that supports the Functional Mockup Interface standard. In the older versions of Dyad, exported FMUs are large in size since they end up exporting both the model as well as the entire Julia compiler and runtime.
This webinar will discuss a big improvement for generating FMUs in Dyad, leveraging JuliaC, a new compilation workflow which will be released in Julia 1.12. This workflow generates much smaller FMUs (~55 MB) and much faster (~2 min compilation time) than prior versions.
