Participants will gain practical insights into using JuliaHub’s authentication, job submission, and data API functionalities to streamline their migration efforts.

Key Topics:

  • Challenges of Legacy Computing Applications: Identifying common issues faced by legacy applications in compute-intensive environments.

  • Benefits of Migration to JuliaHub: Exploring the advantages of migrating to Julia on JuliaHub, including improved performance and scalability.

Practical Steps for Migration:

  • Authenticating a JuliaHub account from the command line.

  • Submitting scripts as jobs to JuliaHub for efficient computation.

  • Sending and receiving data to/from JuliaHub using the platform’s APIs.

A live demonstration showcasing the migration process and practical use of JuliaHub’s features. The demo will illustrate how to authenticate an account, submit jobs, and manage data effectively.
