HVAC and refrigeration engineers routinely work across four or five separate packages: one for modeling, one for steady-state analysis, another for transient simulation, another again for parameter estimation and control. The models don't talk to each other, and every handoff between teams costs time. Meanwhile the demands keep rising: net-zero buildings, heat pump electrification, next-generation refrigerants, battery thermal management, aircraft environmental control.
This webinar introduces HVACComponents, a Dyad-native library for vapor compression cycles. We'll cover what ships with it: tube-fin heat exchangers, compressors, valves, fans, pipes, and conditioned spaces, all backed by fast spline-based refrigerant and moist/dry air property models.
We'll then assemble a complete vapor compression cycle in the graphical editor and run it, first as a transient and then as a steady-state solve, from the same model definition with only a couple of lines changed.
If you work on refrigeration, heat pumps, automotive thermal, or building HVAC, you'll come away knowing what the library covers and how it would fit your own toolchain.
